Uxbridge Ontario DSL Cable Fibre Internet Service Provider & Web Hosting Design SEO Ecommerce, well almost. We need to remove the Uxbridge cable high speed internet from the equation. You see in Uxbridge the Rogers lines we would normally use to deliver our cable high speed internet services are well, not exactly Rogers lines, they are the lines of a company owned by Rogers. Important distinction. Bottom line is we can't use the Rogers-Compton cable lines to deliver our cable high speed internet services.
But do not despair! There may be another option, (besides tin cans and string). We are able to use the Bell DSL and FTTN (Fibre to the neighbourhood) lines to deliver our services. So, you may ask, what plans are those? Well, the are below (but they might not be available at all addresses in Uxbridge):
If you do not have an active Bell Canada phone at your Ontario home, we will also have to charge for a 'dry loop' (a phone number & phone line that is just for internet use and cannot be used to make phone calls). We also offer an optional phone line noise filter for a small one time cost. Static IPs are also available for those who want them, but most people do not need them. These plans do not include TV channels, home phone, or security services.
WRS Band A, B, C, D, E, F - Dry DSL $15.99
WRS Band G - Dry DSL $25.99*
* Above monthly Dry Loop Band can only be figured out after a customer has placed an order, and paid for it. (Most customers are on Bands A/B/C/D/E/F. Very infrequently they will be on the higher band rates.) For initial ordering purposes (if you need a dry loop) we will process your order at a Dry Loop Band price of $15.99 per month, (and if it turns out that you are in Band G we will contact you to discuss). In the event that a Dry Loop is needed, there is an additional Dry Loop Activation fee of $24.99 Please note that not all address can achieve full plan speeds.
A modem approved for use with a low speed may not be approved for use with a higher speed! The modem firmware version must exactly match the listed approved firmware version. Older or Newer firmware versions will not be accepted on the network. You must own the modem! If your modem was rented from another provider and you are required to return it, we will not be able to use it with our service.
Modem for DSL 6, 10, 15, 25, 50 Plans
Modem Shipping $19.99
A Modem is required to get internet. We currently sell modems (which may vary by plan speed) for internet Ontario Ontario users. You would have the chance to buy one when placing an order for Ontario high speed internet with us. If you are renting a modem from Bell you will need to plan a date to return it on. We do not rent modems. You must provide a suitable modem (or purchase a suitable modem from us and we will ship it to you) or it will not work with our Ontario internet services). If you own your own suitable modem you must give us the info we need (make / model, serial number, and the 'macid' or 'machine ID') at the time you place your Ontario high speed internet order online with us. In terms of DSL & Fibre high speed internet plans, we only sell non-wireless modems.
If you order a modem from us, a shipping fee will be added at time of purchase (shown in our ordering system as a 'setup fee' but it is actually for 'shipping' and not for any sort of setup). If for some reason we were unable to provide service at your address (usually because Bell cannot physically service the address for us) and you have bought a modem from us, after you have return (by Canada Post) the purchased modem (in 'new condition' in the original packaging) to our warehouse (where it was mailed from, please do not bring it to our Offices) we will process a refund.
Prior to inputting your Postal Code, and importantly in advance of asking WRS Web Solutions to lookup to see what DSL and/or cable high speed internet services are available at your address, please recall that in this province we employ both the Rogers & Cogeco Cable TV networks to market our cable high speed internet services, (we pay a cost to use their cable TV networks) thus if you have previously inquired to buy cable high speed internet from both of them and both were not able to deliver cable high speed internet, then our team will not be able to supply you with cable high speed internet either. On the up side if you now have (or ever had, or anyone else at that address ever had) cable internet services with either Rogers or Cogeco at your current address you can buy our cable high speed services, no need to ask us first or look anything up.
Plus we do sell DSL high speed internet using the Bell phone lines (in the very same areas where Bell is able to provide DSL / FTTN), but if you already contacted Bell and could not get phone line based internet services from them then WRS Web Solutions would be giving you the exact same answer. If you do not have an active phone line with Bell, when you order DSL internet from us, then you will require a 'Dry Loop' which is an additional monthly cost of about $15.99, and you must order that from us as part of the online order process as a 'add on' option on the order.
Our company does not sell wireless internet, satellite internet, 'point to point' internet, towers or wireless hubs. We are not in a position to 'wire' un-serviced parts of Ontario, or build DSL capability where Bell phone lines do not already have it as we are using Bell's DSL and FTTN infrastructure. Thus if you can presently have Bell DSL or FTTN then you can order our DSL or FTTN (up to the speeds we are able to retail ). Our company does not sell fibre TV channels or cable TV channels.
Please also understand that this Postal Code Lookup database is still somewhat small due to the fact that the large companies who own those lines are unwilling to share their Postal Code location info with us as it provides them a competitive advantage over us knowing where the lines are and are not, and we have to build up our own database slowly one by one, over time. So if your Postal Code is not in the database this does not mean we can't service the address. Thanks in advance for your understanding, and not asking us to lookup an answer to a question you already have the answer to. ☺ (You would be surprised how often people do that already knowing full well that their address cannot be serviced for internet by either phone company lines or cable TV lines but request us to check just the same in hopeful thinking that we can work some magic .)
We do not accept orders by phone, they have to be entered online though the website. We prefer not to take questions by phone, rather we prefer to be contacted using the Sales or Support contact forms, so that we may give a well thought out written reply. For Uxbridge web hosting, design, ecommerce or SEO inquiries please use the Support form.
Please note that the above plans, prices, details and availability, etc, are all subject to change without notice, and please remember that web pages can go out of date, and it can take a while to upate them all. :)
