Multilink Internet Solutions

A Faster Option

A Multilink solution may offer the customer a faster speed than our usual offerings. It is also more expensive, and a more complex solution. It takes longer to arrange, and pricing varies. Please note that the address and phone number you enter at the time you create an account with us, or place an order, should be the same address as the 'service address', and the phone number should be one which if provided to the Installers, be one which they can reach someone at on the Installation date(s) prior to coming over. (It can be a cell phone number).

WRS Web Solutions Inc, offers a multilink internet solution (custom by address), which can combine ('bond') multiple lines, and/or combinations of cable internet, and DSL. Our multilink solutions are all custom internet solutions. Their availability varies by address, and it is not available at all addresses. You are welcome to ask us about multilink solutions, and our company will check on availability and provide an initial reply to you by email within 24 hours. We may have questions, so providing an estimate/quote etc, may take several days. (If you want info/pricing on 'dedicated access', which may be another possible option, that may take a week or more to put together.) Please note that the multilink service is likely going to be a lot more expensive that our usual single line (one family) residential (and small business) services. There is more involved, and it also takes longer to organize.

Due to the fact that the multilink solution for your business (organization or personal use) might be a custom one, we may have to create a custom plan, just for you, in our ordering and billing system, which might have it's own unique ordering link, which we would have to email you.

Static IP Address

If you need a static IP address, or a block of Static IP addresses, please let us know your requirements, up front. (Often our multilink solution comes with a /30 static IP address block supplied.)

Bandwidth Data Usage

Our multilink solutions (usually) include bandwidth data usage included in the MRC costs.

Interior Wiring Not Included

In the case of multilink and dedicated access internet solutions, the installation of the line(s) is to the building (exterior), but does not include internal wiring within the building. The customer may have to arrange their own wiring from the building exterior to wherever they wish to locate the bonder(s)/modem()s. The may have to connect the line(s) to the bonder(s) and modem(s), on their own. (They may however speak to our modems and connections guys on the phone, to get some help doing this.) The bonder(s) are usually loaned to the customer (at no charge), but if they are not returned at the end of use (in good working order), the customer would be invoiced for them. The customer usually needs to buy or rent the modems from us.

Shipping

The bonder(s) and Modem(s) are usually shipped by Canada Post ExpressPost. ('Do not safe drop, signature required'.) Their shipping progress can be tracked online from the Canada Post website by the Tracking Number, just ask us (by email/Help Desk Ticket) for the Tracking Number. (In the event of Postal disruption then the are usually shipped by courier.)

If/when you decide to end your multilink service, then you need to return the bonder(s) at your expense (usually by Canada Post) to the address they were shipped to you from. If you have any rented modems, then you would need to return those as well, at your expense (usually by Canada Post) but to a different address (one in Ontario, which we will provide, please ask us).

Pricing & Terms

Multilink pricing usually contains two basic elements, one is the Monthly Reoccurring Cost (MRC) and one is the Non-Reoccurring Cost (NRC). Both of these costs may vary by the number of lines involved, as well as if it is a 'month to month' (no term contract), or a 'term contract' for a set number of years. For example the NRC is usually highest for a 'month to month' arrangement, and usually gets lower as the number of years in the 'term contract' gets longer. In terms of the speeds, while we can estimate the speeds the customer will receive, we cannot guarantee those speeds.

Invoicing would be by email on (our choice of) a calendar month or a 30 day time period. Please ensure that you put our email address on your 'safe sender's list' to help ensure that you receive our monthly Invoices and Hel Desk Ticket replies.

The multilink pricing includes any 'dry loop' requirements, as part of the NRC. There are no termination fees.

Installation Appointments

As with residential installations, some one (18 years of age or older) needs to be on site to meet the Installers, when they come. Ideally this should be the customer’s IT person (or equivalent). All of the lines may be installed at once, or they might each have separate installation dates and times. The Installers may call the phone number the customer provided at time of order, to see if anyone is 'home' before coming over, and if they do not get an answer they might assume nobody is there, and not come. Installation costs are included in the NRC. Once the order is placed it may take us a few days to get the Installation appointment details, and we will email them to you.

Client Area

Multilink customers (same as our residential customers) have a user name and password which allows them to login to the Client area of our website at any time to see their invoices, payments, Help Desk Tickets, etc.

Questions Welcome

If one has questions, one should ask them prior to entering that order. Orders must be paid for at the time the orders are entered because our team does not accept unpaid orders. Modem purchase or rental from WRS Web Solutions during making that order is usually essential. Our site takes Interac e-Transfer, as well as credit cards and PayPal account as payment methods. Be sure to note that our website uses PayPal as our merchant credit card processor, that said one does not need to open a PayPal account. When you place the order, you will be taken to an Invoice with two yellow buttons on it. One button is labelled 'PayPal Subscribe' & the other says 'PayPal Checkout'. Should someone wants to setup monthly automatic payment using a MasterCard or Visa or a PayPal account please pick the 'PayPal Subscribe' button choice, or to just pay the Invoice select the 'PayPal Checkout button.

Multilink Support

For existing Mulitlink customers requiring Technical Support for bonders, modems, internet connections, speeds, or IP addresses, please see the 'support' page of our website). For all other topics please open a Help Desk Ticket, and we will reply by email within 24 hours. (We do not provide Technical Support for customer routers, or for 3rd party VoIP solutions.)

Bulk Mail

Multilink services cannot be used to send unsolicited bulk mail, or for any purpose that the CRTC may take exception to.
